Our Story
The Roots of Our Kennel
It all started with one dog.
Our journey with dogs began over 30 years ago. In the early days, we only had space for a single pet, but that very first mixed-breed female changed our lives forever. Despite her health challenges, she was a wonderful companion, growing up alongside our children and showing us how important it is to choose a dog responsibly.
That experience taught us the true value of a dog’s background – its health, character, and the environment in which it is raised. Back then, genetic testing wasn’t available, but even so, we began dreaming of a kennel where health, mental balance, and proper socialization would always come first.

The Beginning of Royal Leo
A place where every dog is part of the family.
Royal Leo was born from passion, a deep love for dogs, and the desire to share everyday life with these extraordinary companions. When our children grew up, we finally had the opportunity to create ideal conditions for our dogs – spacious runs, a play area, agility course, pool, and most importantly, a warm and loving family home.
Over time, our passion turned into something more – we completed a professional course in canine-assisted therapy (dog therapy), and our dogs, after successfully passing their exams, became certified therapy dogs. This experience reaffirmed our belief that a responsible kennel must combine knowledge, heart, and everyday commitment.
Today, Royal Leo is a place where dogs are full-fledged members of the family, and their well-being – both physical and emotional – is our top priority. Our canine family has grown alongside our knowledge, experience, and values, which we’ve also passed on to our children.
Although they each lead their own adult lives now, they remain closely involved in the kennel. Each of them shares their home with a dog from Royal Leo and actively supports us in the daily life of the pack – from caring for puppies and socialization to walks and kennel planning. They are co-owners of our breeding dogs and take part in all important decisions regarding the future of Royal Leo.

At Royal Leo, we care for every stage of a puppy’s development. From their very first days, our puppies grow up in a loving home environment – surrounded by children and adult dogs – which helps them naturally develop social skills and communication abilities. We also apply early neurological stimulation techniques to build confidence and resilience from a young age.
We place great emphasis on health and genetics. The parents of each litter are carefully selected and tested in the renowned LABOKLIN laboratory. This gives us full confidence that our dogs are healthy, genetically stable, and have excellent temperaments. Many of them are also certified therapy dogs, which reflects their exceptional character and strong connection with people.
We believe that a dog is a lifelong companion – choosing a responsible breeder is a decision that shapes the life of both the dog and its future family.
